Anderson DJ Service & Custom Catering by Short Stop
Custom Catering by Short Stop has been Central Minnesota's preferred caterer for over 50 years — locally owned since 1995 with roots going back to the original Short Stop Restaurant in Sauk Rapids in 1974. Owned by Byron and PegAnne Bjorklund, Short Stop has earned the St. Cloud Area Small Business Person of the Year award (2009), the Minnesota Small Business Person of the Year award (2010), and Best Catering in the Best of Central Minnesota awards every year from 2014 to 2020. Anderson DJ Service is proud to work alongside Custom Catering by Short Stop at weddings throughout the region.
Short Stop offers a full-service culinary experience for weddings of all sizes, with four chefs, custom menu creation, farm-to-table and organic options, locally-crafted drinks and craft beers, and a beautiful private tasting room — complimentary for couples with an estimated guest count of 100 or more. Their team has catered at The Regency, Rolling Ridge, Harvester Square, and venues across Central Minnesota. Anderson DJ Service coordinates music timing directly with the Short Stop team — dinner music, catering cue timing, and toast setup — so the flow of your reception feels natural and unhurried from the first course through open dancing.
On your wedding day, guests remember two things above all else: the food and how the night felt. Custom Catering by Short Stop handles the food at an extraordinary level — creative menus, beautiful presentation, and a courteous professional staff. Anderson DJ Service handles the feeling: a personalized soundtrack, dynamic dance floor energy, and an emcee who keeps the entire evening moving with warmth and precision. When both vendors are at the top of their game, your guests feel it in the room all night. Reach Short Stop at (320) 257-3008 or through their website at 3701 3rd St N, St. Cloud, MN.

What Couples Are Saying
“Hands down, the BEST DJ ever!”
We cannot thank Sam enough for absolutely crushing it at our wedding! From start to finish, he brought the perfect energy — keeping the dance floor full all night and reading the crowd like a pro. Every transition was seamless, the music fit our vibe perfectly, and he made the whole night feel so personal and fun. So many guests came up to us saying it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding.
