Anderson DJ Service — Preferred DJ at Gathered Oaks
Gathered Oaks is a stunning Central Minnesota wedding destination, and Anderson DJ Service regularly performs at events there. We've learned the layout and acoustics of the space, which means better sound, smoother transitions, and a reception that feels effortless for you and your guests.
Our all-inclusive approach means we handle everything from load-in to the final song: professional sound system calibrated for the venue, dynamic dance floor lighting, and polished emcee services throughout the evening. One flat rate, no surprises, just a great party.
Gathered Oaks is a white barn venue set in Minnesota's heartland near Alexandria, with lakeside wedding ceremonies overlooking Little Charlie Lake, a temperature-controlled event center with indoor fireplace, main level and lofted dinner seating, a private bridal cabin, a groom's area, on-site lodging, and a full bar with staff. The venue also has a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor sound system for ceremonies — and Anderson DJ Service brings that same level of quality for your reception: professional DJ sound, dance floor lighting, and polished emcee services that match the warmth and beauty of this one-of-a-kind Alexandria barn venue.

What Couples Are Saying
“10/10 experience, no notes!”
Anderson DJ was by far one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. Not only was the music, entertainment and croud work top tier, but they go all out to help you with anything you need to make the day run smoothly. Quick to respond, helped by communicating with other vendors and venue and just all around great people to work with. 10/10 experience, no notes!
“Sam and Co. are the absolute best!!”
Sam and Co. are the absolute best!! The minute you meet Sam you will understand why so many people say absolutely the best!!! A dance needs energy and Sam has that energy.
“The energy he brought was exactly what we were looking for.”
Sam was AMAZING to work with from start to finish! The energy he brought to every video chat, conversation, and especially the dance floor was exactly what we were looking for in our wedding DJ. Since Sam had never been to our venue before, he went above and beyond by taking time out of his busy week to tour the facility and make sure he had a game plan for a seamless setup. The playlist was absolutely perfect. He understood our vision and delivered exactly what we wanted, plus so much more! Our guests were raving about him all night, and even days after the wedding, people were still talking about how amazing our DJ was. Even our venue owners complimented him! We 100% recommend ADJMN! If you’re looking for a DJ, stop your search here and book Sam, you will not regret it!
